Flower hair clips

I love to make things, and I also enjoy seeing my family wearing/using things that I've made. I hope that they enjoy wearing/using them too.

Among the things that I enjoy making are hair clips. I've made quite a number - plain simple ones as well as the one with flower on top.

Apam polkadots and angry birds

Try buat apam polkadot and angry birds last Sunday. First time buat tak jadi, sebab banyak gelembung-gelembung udara. So, bila kukus apam tu, banyak permukaan yang tak rata disebabkan gelembung-gelembung udara yang dah sedia ada sebelum kukus lagi.

Although percubaan pertama tak begitu menjadi, anak-anak suka makan apam ni. Gambar-gambar di bawah merupakan percubaan pertama dalam membuat apam ni.

Hari Isnin, buat lagi sekali sebab tak puas hati kenapa apam tu tak cantik. So, this time around, lepas dah mix the ingredients using stand mixer, kacau pulak dengan tangan untuk menghilangkan gelembung-gelembung udara. Lepas tu kukus. Alhamdulillah, jadi pun apam polkadot and angry burds ni.

hasilnya... alhamdulillah jadi pun apam-apam ni :)

Talam susu utara

Made this the other day, using the recipe learnt from Chef Asma's class. Senang je buat talam susu ni, masuk semua bahan-bahan dalam food processor, on the button and leave it for approximately 5 minutes. Lepas tu bake.

Super Why cake for Faiz's birthday party

Faiz, as always wanted a chocolate cake for his birthday party. I initially thought that since I needed to practice on my buttercream roses, maybe I can then make roses to place on top of the cake. Faiz, being a boy, wanted something else. He changed his mind quite a number of times, and finally said that he wanted picture of Super Why on his birthday cake.

So, I made my signature chocolate butter cake, with oreo cream frosting and chocolate ganache topping. Using chocolate, I then made the picture of Whyatt of Super Why.
